Important facts of having a professional facial
Your circulatory system's ability to nourish your tissues and remove toxins and waste starts to slow down in your early twenties. Combine that with hormonal breakouts, sun-damage and poor diet, and you get a multitude of reasons to get a facial.
Professional facials are a way to counteract both visible aging, and the 'unseen' damage that is about to surface.
Signs that I need a professional facial
If you experience any of the following: dullness, congestion, acne, excess oil production, sagging, puffiness, fine line/wrinkles, dark circles, large pores, redness, rough texture, or pigmented spots, it may be time to get a professional facial. Facial massages are not only relaxing but are also an essential step in facial treatments to deliver beautiful results.
- Releases muscle tension, easing pain and relaxing wrinkles.
- Increases micro-circulation, boosting skin healing, repair, and skin rejuvenation.
- Tones the muscles, lifting facial features and supporting the skin.
- Stimulates collagen production, plumps out wrinkles, firms & tightens the skin.
- Improves lymphatic drainage, reducing fluid build-up, puffiness; speeds the cleating of acne & skin inflammation.
- Enhances penetration of active serums for enhanced results.
The Best Facial Treatment depends entirely on your skin concerns.

Dermaplaning is a cosmetic procedure that removes the dead cells vellus hair on the top layers of your skin. Keep in mind that “peach fuzz” doesn’t grow back darker or thicker. The procedure aims make the skin’s surface look and feel smooth. Dermaplaning is safe for most people, with little risk of side effects. This procedure doesn’t require any downtime for recovery.
Diamond Microdermabrasion Facial
Diamond microdermabrasion is a painless, non-surgical procedure offering safe and controlled skin abrasion. The diamond tipped wand glides over the skin with a vacuum action, gently polishing the skin. No side effects other than a glowing and healthy complexion. It targets fine lines, enlarged pores, acne scars, sun damaged skin, stretch marks and in-grown hairs.
Microdermabrasion is a very safe procedure for most people (although there are some people who should not have a microdermabrasion treatment). Microdermabrasion is a valuable skin care procedure, but it isn't a miracle cure for all problems. It won't treat deeper lines, wrinkles, or acne scars.
It is commonly believed that acne is something that only teenagers go through, but it is common to see people within the ages of 20 and 40 with signs of acne.
Oily skin is not the only cause of acne for everyone. People with dry skin also experience breakouts or acne. Here are just some possibilities that could cause acne in adults:
- Oily skin prone to black heads.
- Overtreated skin.
- Harsh products.
- Disruption to the skin barrier.
- Food intolerances such as gluten or dairy.
- Too much sugar in the diet.
- Inflammation associated with poor diet and lifestyle.
In Healthy Skin Spa we treat congested skin and breakouts. In our Acne Facial treatment, you will experience many steps: deep pore cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, charcoal purifying mask, LED Light therapy and hydration.
Oxygen Infusion Facial
The function of oxygen therapy is to provide the skin a refreshing and gentle blast of oxygen that nourishes and delivers a serum or ampoule solution deep into the skin in the form of a nano particulate mist, through a process known as The “Waterfall Effect” or “Lenard Effect” which consists of instant pulverization of the water occurring when the water molecules colliding with the skin surface materials. This same principle applies to this Oxygen Infusion Facial.
You will experience a cleansing, exfoliation, a mask, oxygen infusion and a hydrating cream.
Like facial treatment but performed on your back. Our treatment consists of deep cleansing, exfoliation and extractions.
Treatment ends with a detoxifying mask for hydration, a toner infusion and a hydrating cream.
Facials Combined With Aesthetic Equipment
This facial is customized to your skin type. Whether it’s oily, dry or sensitive, you will experience a cleansing, exfoliation and use of aesthetic equipment.
Here are our options:
Radiofrequency - Microcurrent - LED Light Lamp Therapy - Oxygen Infusion
Radiofrequency is a treatment that raises the temperature of the tissues, thus stimulating the production of collagen, which helps to combat the signs of skin aging to give it a younger appearance. Benefits:
- Tensor effect.
- Fresher, smooth and luminous skin.
- Lifting effect.
- Greater definition of the facial oval.
- Softens facial corners to reduce creases.
- Greater firmness in neck and neckline.
- Wrinkle reduction
At the end of the session your skin may show a slight redness that is considered normal and will disappear in a couple of hours. Any additional inconvenience can be reported immediately.
The microcurrent is an anti-aging technology that uses very low current electricity to rejuvenate facial muscles, increase cellular activity, improve skin tone and texture, and blood and lymphatic circulation.
The microcurrent mimics the body's own bioelectric currents and increases cellular processes that slow down as we age. Only a slight tingling sensation is felt.
- Increases activity in fibroblast cells, which are found in connective tissue and are responsible for producing collage and elastin.
- Re-educate the muscles, shortening or lengthening them, depending on the technique and the desired effect. Reduces the appearance of wrinkles and expression lines.
- Increases blood and lymphatic circulation, helping the body's own waste disposal system.
- Increases the synthesis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which gives energy to the cells.
- Increases protein synthesis, gluconeogenesis and cell membrane transport.
- Increases the penetration of the serum’s active ingredients.
- The best results are obtained when a series of microcurrent treatments are performed and then maintained.
Led Light Lamp – Photodynamic Therapy
It is a light therapy that stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which give the skin its youthful appearance.
Several scientific studies have proven that LED light technology has a direct action on the skin, with different benefits that depend on the color they emit. The process resembles photosynthesis. The LED light is directly applied to the skin through a mask or a lamp. The rays emitted are like the rays of the sun, but without the ultraviolet rays. The LED Light Therapy includes 7 lights of 7 different colors to treat different types of dermal needs
Microneedling + EGF/BFGF
(Epidermal Growth Factor, like PRP but more effective)
- Full Face or Scalp
- Face & Neck
- Face, Neck, and Chest
- Stretch marks (varies per client)
It is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that’s used to treat skin concerns via collagen production. Also known as collagen induction therapy, this treatment may help those looking to reduce the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks. It’s also used in certain anti-aging procedures, such as eyelid surgery and sunspots.
Micro-needling works by encouraging your skin to make more collagen. The idea is that pinpricks from the procedure cause slight injury to the skin, causing the skin to respond by making new collagen-rich tissue. This new skin tissue is more even in tone and texture. It’s normal for the skin to lose collagen via age or injury. By encouraging the skin to make new tissue, there may be more collagen to help make the skin firmer, too.
Plasma Fibroblast Therapy
Plasma fibroblast is a non-invasive skin tightening treatment as an alternative to tighten and improve the appearance of skin. It combats wrinkles, loss of collagen, and sagging skin. As we age, the dermal layer of our skin thins, we produce less collagen, and we lose elasticity. All of these factors produce sagging and wrinkling of the skin.
The treatment uses a hand-held device which generates plasma where a visible smoke is produced as a result of the sublimating process. Sublimation is the physical term for the shift from solid to gas. The device heats the dermis in the targeted area, which begins to shed post treatment, allowing new fresher skin to form. At the same time, new collagen begins to form. There is no formation of electricity and no thermal damage.
The device can assist with:
- Eyelid tightening (including lower eyelids and excess upper eyelid skin)
- Removal of skin imperfections (including skin tags and sunspots)
- Improving the appearance of acne scars
- Diminishing stretch marks
- Tightening loose stomach skin after pregnancy
- Smoothing signs of aging such as lines and wrinkles
- Face-lift and neck-lift
- Plus much more

What Is Transdermal Mesotherapy?
Transdermal Mesotherapy is the newest and most innovative technology to administer active ingredients to a patient using an electroporator to treat all the same conditions that traditional mesotherapy does but without the use of needles.
Traditional Mesotherapy uses needles to treat cellulite and resistant fat and is also used for anti-aging therapies, including pigmentation, hydration, scarring and general rejuvenation. Transdermal mesotherapy has been designed to obtain all the same benefits while avoiding the limits and side effects that traditional techniques give.
Transdermal Mesotherapy uses an electroporator, which utilizes the skin's water-based channels to promote transdermal delivery of products by a pulsed iontophoresis with "electroporation" or a continuous reversed polarity current. The electroporator also known as DEEP makes it possible for either micro molecules or macro molecules to be safely delivered into the body without either modification of the active solution nor damage to the targeted tissues and cells. This technology uses pulses which the patient's skin can easily tolerate with no problems or side effects.
Transdermal Mesotherapy treats:
- Double chin
- Fatty Eye Bags
- Facial Sculpturing
- Skin Rejuvenation
- Skin Dehydration
- Sagging Skin
- Fine Lines and Wrinkles
- Body Fat Reduction
Aging is a complex phenomenon which is genetically programmed according to a biological clock. It can occur prematurely by external environmental factors such as UV rays, pollution, or smoking which produces free radicals. Our skin requires growth factors as key modulators of skin cell metabolism (which decreases with the aging process and results in slow cell renewal and defective skin defense systems). If growth factors are put into the aged skin by an electroporator, they improve skin elasticity and plasticity slowing down signs of aging.
Anti-aging treatments with Growth Factors are effective and should be started sooner, when the skin has a much greater ability to rejuvenate.
Transdermal mesotherapy with Growth Factors stimulate the fibroblasts to produce collagen, which is the major supporting structure of the skin.
A series of treatments is necessary. The idea is to start rejuvenation treatments before the signs of aging appear. Healthy Skin Spa combines Transdermal Mesotherapy safely and effectively with aesthetic equipment for the best results. All skin types are treated without pain or down-time.
All the treatments will be done by combining cosmetic vials with transdermal mesotherapy equipment. You will see results after each session (flash effect), and after 24-48 hours you will have the true result. A minimum of 8 sessions are needed for effective and lasting treatment.
